Click ADMIN > SERVICES > SERVICE ITEMS > ADVANCED from the sub menu. 


You can apply a period of time (in hours/minutes) either side of the scheduled time that the job must be started within. So, for example, if you select a timeframe of ± "30 mins" for a service and then schedule the service for 10 am, it must be started some time between 9.30am (30 minutes before the scheduled start time) and 10.30am (30 minutes after the scheduled start time).


This is the default timeframe for a service and, if required, it can be amended when adding a job to a service order or when using the edit jobs function.


If you schedule a service with a timeframe, then the timeframe within which the job should be started can be viewed in the following places:

  • The Staff Job List

  • The Staff Diary

  • The job list on PSP Mobile

  • The Admin Diary - click on a job in the admin diary to view the job edit screen where you can see the timeframe.


Note: For the timeframe to show on the diary, you need to have checked the box by the "Show Time" option on each job you wish to see time for. If you wish you can default all jobs to "Show Time" in ADMIN > SETTINGS > click DIARY SETTINGS from the sub menu, then choose Show Time Default and select Yes. Click "Update". 

How do I give a service a timeframe?

  • Click the drop down options for Timeframe±.

  • Select a timeframe to apply to your service.

  • Click "Update".
