< Your Data < Updating and Adding a Pet




Navigation: Click the link "go to portal" from any Client's blue snapshot panel > Your Data

NOTE: CUSTOM FIELDS may change the appearance of this section in PSP.

Once logged onto the Client Portal, from the "Your Data" screen your client will be able to:

  • view and amend their pet information, as well as adding new pets


How does the Client Update their Pet? 


  • To view any of the different pages in "Your Data" click on the tabs on the left under "Pets" (these may look different due to your custom fields settings).

  • To update any sections in "Pets" click the "edit" option on the right of the screen. 

  • To add a new pet, click "+ Add pet" on the left tabs (see below).


How does the Client Add a New Pet? 


  • Enter the pet's name. NOTE: this will become their "Diary ref" if this is the first pet, but you can change this if you need to.

  • Select the pet "type" from the dropdown list. Different pet types have specific options dependent upon the type of pet.

  • Click "Add Pet".

The new pet record is now ready to be completed.


  • The basic information the client gave can be seen here.

  • Based on the custom fields you have enabled in your system, the client can now complete more details about their pet, such as colour, gender, vaccination and microchip information.

  • Click "Update" to save the information.


NOTE: their changes will instantly become visible in the admin interface in the pet record, and also the staff interface dependent upon the access settings you have in your system.

The client can add a photo of their pet to the pet record.


  • Browse on the computer for the photo and click "select".

  • When happy with the image, click "Update" to save.

NOTE: Custom Fields enables our pet sitting companies to create and develop their own environment within the CLIENTS & PETS pages in YOUR DATA within Pet Sitter Plus. This means that where your admin has introduced custom fields that are unique to your business, certain fields on our help screens may not look exactly the same as yours. We therefore can only provide explanations and descriptions of our standard system fields, and recommend you see your admin for more information.
